ESP USA HDX-I Demo by Luis Kalil

NOTE: The ESP USA HDX-I is available only to US residents exclusively via the ShopESP web store.

Enjoy this excellent demo of the ESP USA HDX-I by Luis Kalil! Built by the master luthiers at the ESP USA Shop in Southern California, the USA HDX-I is another exciting descendent of the ESP Horizon that’s taken on its own unique and individual character with an extended upper horn, a shortened and scooped lower horn, and a flat-top body designed for streamlined, high-performance guitar playing. This guitar uses sturdy bolt-on construction at 25.5” scale for snappy response, with a dense and resonant ash body and a three-piece extra-thin u-shaped maple neck. The USA HDX-I also features a Richlite fingerboard, an outstanding material being used in the world’s highest-end custom-crafted guitars. Richlite is ultra smooth, flawless, and stable, and is fully resistant to warping, expansion, and contraction, even in the harshest weather changes. Components on the USA HDX-I include a Hipshot hardtail bridge with string thru body, Gotoh Magnum Lock tuners, Dunlop straplocks, and a bone nut. A single premium-quality direct-mounted pickup is being offered in this guitar; the Custom 14 is a new custom hand-wound pickup designed exclusively for ESP by Seymour Duncan. The flexible and dynamic Custom 14 pickup offers everything you need from clean, chimey tones to sizzling rock, classic metal, and hardcore tones… and the most crushing modern chugging and articulate, angular rhythm lines you ever hoped for. A push-pull control on the volume knob splits this pickup to the most wide-ranging single coil bridge territory we've ever offered. The USA HDX-I includes an ESP form-fit hardshell case and an official Certificate of Authenticity from ESP.
