TITLE: ARTIST RELATIONS & MARKETING ASSISTANT

JOB SUMMARY

  • The Artist Relations & Marketing Assistant will work alongside ESP’s artist relations and marketing teams to help in many areas of the company’s marketing/advertising efforts. A strong emphasis will be placed on coordination of social media messaging across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and more); performing tasks to assist in artist-focused promotions, content creation, and order entry; duties pertaining to the brand’s digital marketing campaigns; and analysis of industry/competitive trends.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Continual coordination with artist relations team to help handle artist needs/requests.
  • Participation and contribution in all ESP marketing initiatives.
  • Creation of compelling social media posts across multiple platforms.
  • Ability to create professional written and image content.
  • Assisting at in-person activities such as trade shows or sponsored events.
  • Basic skills in Photoshop and video editing tools a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic knowledge of guitar/musical instrument industry required (previous direct experience a plus).
  • Strong understanding and experience in social media marketing.
  • Skills and background in general business tools (word processing, spreadsheets, etc.)
  • Strong writing skills required.
  • Capable skills in photo and video editing.

TITLE: WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY

  • The Warehouse Operations Manager will oversee and direct all the related duties for ESP's Global Distribution Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse software systems along with being able to get the optimum performance from distribution team members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Recruits, hires, and trains new warehouse employees. Coaches, counsels, schedules and disciplines current warehouse employees as needed by enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Contributes to creating and recommending strategic plans and reviews in order to achieve operational objectives. Resolves problems and identifies trends
  • Determines product handling and storage requirements to develop warehouse operations systems. Develops, implements, evaluates and enforces policies and procedures. Develops processes for receiving product, utilizing equipment, managing inventory and shipping product.
  • Develops and implements effective warehouse layout that accounts for product flow, equipment and product handling systems.
  • Establishes, follows and enforces safety standards and procedures in compliance with a healthy work environment and legal requirements.
  • Develops protection and access policies and coordinates security patrols to keep the property secure.
  • Participates in ongoing education to update job knowledge.
  • Manages all levels of employee safety and compliance with OSHA guidelines.
  • Responsible for facility maintenance, organization and adequate level of all warehouse related supplies and equipment.

TITLE: PAINT DEPARTMENT TECHNICIAN

JOB SUMMARY

  • Perform the day-to-day responsibilities and duties of the paint department within the ESP USA Guitar Manufacturing Facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Surface preparation of wood items for paint application
  • Sealing/grain filling wood surfaces
  • Taping bindings and other non-painted surfaces
  • Detailing tape lines
  • Logo/decal application
  • Finish touch-ups
  • Color spraying
  • Clear coat spraying
  • Sanding and buffing of finished guitars
  • Demonstrate sense of urgency in completion of orders to meet production goals
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience sanding/buffing/polishing of urethane and polyester resin clear coated finishes.
  • Previous painting experience in guitar manufacturing within a fast-paced production environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HVLP painting techniques.
  • Paint equipment cleaning.
  • Previous knowledge and experience with surface preparation and painting of guitars or related industries, such as autobody shops, cabinet finishing shops.
  • Ability to follow instruction and maintain monthly output requirements/goals.
  • Must speak, read, and write English.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours or more.
  • Exposure to loud noise, hot and cold temperatures/changes in climate, dust, hazardous chemicals, paint fumes

TITLE: WOOD SHOP TECH

JOB SUMMARY

  • Perform the day-to-day responsibilities and duties of guitar manufacturing within the wood shop of the ESP USA Guitar Manufacturing Facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Processing raw lumber
  • Cutting of wood materials
  • Glue-up of wood bodies, tops, fingerboards
  • Rough wood shaping and final sanding
  • Fingerboard shaping/radiusing
  • Fret installation
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in guitar manufacturing and production
  • Intermediate to expert knowledge of wood shop processing in a guitar production setting to meet monthly goals/quotas
  • Use of wood shop machinery (Jointers, planers, thickness sanders, bandsaws, presses, routers, and other tooling
  • Previous experience performing wood repairs (Swelling out dents, wood filler/putty, and other blemish corrections)
  • Experience in wood sanding/shaping/cutting/gluing
  • Able to work with limited direction when necessary with ability to multitask
  • Must speak, read and write English

PAY RANGE: $19-$21/HR

TITLE: GUITAR TECH

JOB SUMMARY

  • Inspect and set-up ~30 guitars a day.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Specific education in guitar set-up and maintenance is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Must have 5+ years guitar or bass playing experience with some basic set-up knowledge.
  • Must have knowledge of standard set-up equipment (tools).
  • Must speak, read, and write English.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours or more.

MORE INFORMATION

  • Job hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM, with occasional overtime.
  • Looking for hard-working and punctual techs who are willing to put in a Saturday or two out of the month if necessary.

PAY RANGE: $16.50-$17.50/HR
