Darren Stroud: "West Coast Blues" (cover)

ESP ALL ACCESS COMMUNITY MEMBER SPOTLIGHT! We've featured community member Darren Stroud a number of times, for the simple reason that a) he's a super good guitar player and b) because he knows how to capture the great tones of his ESP guitars. But this time, Darren surprised us with a departure from his typical rock/metal styles and instead threw us the curveball of a cover of Wes Montgomery's "West Coast Blues," a song by the jazz great that was released on a 1960 album by saxophonist Harold Land. Using his LTD TE-200, Darren always proves that you don't need to spend a ton of cash to get the great and versatile tones you need to be a serious pro guitarist. You can always check out more of Darren's great playing -- usually not jazz, mind you -- at his band PowerTribe's official site.

If you're doing cool music with your ESP, ESP E-II, or LTD guitar or bass, upload a video to the ESP site and we might select you as the next ESP All Access Community Member to feature on our front page where thousands of other players can check you out! Get the details here.
