    Josh Middleton is the acclaimed and highly influential guitarist of UK-based progressive metal/metalcore bands Sylosis and Architects, and his first ESP Signature Series guitar is one that lives up to this musician’s extraordinary talent. The LTD Josh Middleton Signature Series JM-II offers a bolt-on construction alder body with quilted maple top, a three-piece roasted maple neck in an extra-thin u-shaped profile, and a Macassar ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. Components on the JM-II include a set of Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker pickups (alnico in the neck and ceramic in the bridge), with push-pull control to select voicings. It also offers LTD locking tuners and a recessed Gotoh TOM bridge with string-thru-body design. Available in Black Shadow Burst finish. More info on this "New for 2021" guitar will be available early next year!

      je l’ai ais découvert avec le merveilleux travail Monolith et depuis ils sont dans mon top 3 j’adore, comment Josh fais parler sa guitare les riff sont Tone agressif.. je crois bien que j’aurais pas le choix pour m’a première signature guitare

            Interested to know if the roasted maple neck affects the tone, or if it is just an aesthetic touch (and a classy one at that). Either way I will be adding this to the collection.

              I think the roasting is just for stability of the wood. You could argue that by removing moisture the wood becomes more "solid" but i don't think that will make the tone more snappy or something.
