I got this one about a month ago. I was afraid that the abalone would make it look too gaudy, but it actually accents the red quite well. Not to mention it sounds and plays much better than the guitar I started out with!

This is great guitar for many specifications,  but if you live in Ucraine they guitar cost a lot of money, but in one day I buy it, but in my country it sales without case, sorry for my eanglish, I tried to say my opinion about this guitar, this is great guitar and if you buying it is a good choice!!!!!!

I bought an EC-1000 Black Cherry a few years back and its a solid player.  the tuners are just great, i had to replace the nut because  it cracked by the high E string when our singer knocked it over.  Also - wish they offered this with Seymour Duncan JB / 59 or Jazz as i had to swap out and added coil tap - the EMG’s are fine just not my thing.  great guitar.  so they make it with a neck that’s wider at the nut for open chords?

Hi ESP Guitars! You make such a gorgeous color variations for EC series guitars. Why can't You add see-thru-black-cherry, see-thru-blue/green/purple for a wider arrangement of LTD series like Arrow, EX, SV, M, MH. Particularly I'm interested in MH-1007-ET but I want it in this color!  \m/

Dude

Is this model built in Korea and/or Indonesia please ?

Todd B. ESP

Hello,

We are currently manufacturing this model in both Korea and Indonesia. However, we constantly monitor production standards at our various factories in Asia where we produce LTD models. Should we determine that a certain facility is capable of manufacturing an instrument to ESP's required standard or better, we may decide to shift production, or in some cases share production of a model, wherever that factory may be located. The guitar should be of excellent quality regardless of where it's made, and it will have passed our own quality assurance testing.

If you have any questions not answered on our product page, please contact ESP Customer Service at customerservice@espguitars.com

After almost 3 months on backorder, I received this guitar on 11/28/20.  Finish, quality and craftsmanship is off the chart.  The action is right on the fret board and a dream to play.  It was absolutely worth the wait.  Now my only decision is to either grab this wicked EC1000 instrument, or the KH-602.  You guys did not disappoint.  The finish and playability is top notch.  Thank you for the attention to detail.

Just scored one of these beauties from my local guitar shop. Any advice on how to find out what year it is? The truss rod cover doesn’t say ec-1000 like the one in this photo, does that mean something or was it just replaced?

thanks for the recommendation!

Are there any future plans to make this guitar with passive pickups and coil splitting?  I absolutely love the black cherry color and the abalone inlays, but I already have a JH-600 with EMGs so I'm looking for something with passives for my next guitar.  Thanks for making such awesome instruments!

Carl N.

No plans at the moment

Marko

This is absolutely gorgeous.

Unfortunately, this particular colour is not available here in India ☹️

You could always reach out to your local ESP distributor for obtaining one in your region.

This is absolutely my next purchase.  I have the LTD KH-602 and it is off the charts quality and sound.  I just have to convince my wife I need another guitar.  Due to a recent promotion at work, I just may get it.  It will be worth getting yelled at for a few days.

Carl N.

Hope you enjoy it!

Poncho H.

I love this guitar. One day i will buy this guitar.

Carl N.

Hope you enjoy it when you get one!

Where is the blue burst with the abalone detail? Those were the most beautiful guitars I had ever seen. I've only seen $$$ "Pro" models look as nice. Bring it back!

Carl N.

Thanks for your recommendations Larry!
