This guitar has it all… a glossy Black finish complemented by gold hardware, and special aesthetic touches like multi-ply body and headstock binding. But that’s just the start. Not only can you downtune this guitar to extraordinary depths for the most gut-thumping riffs while keeping ideal string tension, but the EC-1007 Baritone EverTune will also stay in perfect tune at all points of the neck, thanks to the EverTune constant tension bridge system. This guitar also features set-thru construction for smooth access to the higher registers, a mahogany body with maple cap, and a fully bound three-piece mahogany neck. Other features include LTD locking tuners, a Macassar ebony fingerboard with ESP flag inlays, and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets. Its sound is powered by a set of Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker active pickups (ceramic in the bridge and alnico in the neck), with push-pull control to select voicings and gold covers to match this guitar’s incredible aesthetics. Each pickup offers two voices. With the ceramic bridge pickup, Voice 1 is the ultimate high-output ceramic humbucker bridge pickup tone… crisp, searing crunch, tight bass with no mud, and a growl. Voice 2 delivers modern passive attack performance that has superbly organic distortion characteristics with outstanding dynamics and response. The alnico neck pickup’s Voice 1 is Fishman’s modern active high-output tone, offering the ideal active alnico sound: full, round, and boosted, but with unprecedented articulation and dynamics.
