Formerly known as “ESP Standard”, ESP E-II instruments are made in Japan at the ESP factory. Get used to hearing “wow!” a lot if you’re the owner of an E-II M-II in Snow White finish. This guitar isn’t for people who want to blend meekly into the background; it’s a high-performance speed machine that creates its own spotlight on those who play it. The E-II M-II Snow White uses neck-thru-body construction at 25.5” scale for extreme stability and sustain, as well as unencumbered access to its 24 extra jumbo stainless steel frets. It offers an alder body with a three-piece maple neck that features a natural satin finish on the back for extreme speed and fluidity. In addition to its stainless steel frets, the ebony fingerboard features offset mother-of-pearl dot inlays. High-end components on the E-II M-II Snow White include a Floyd Rose Original double-locking bridge, upgraded with stainless steel screws for long-term reliability, as well as Gotoh locking tuners and ESP strap locks. Its versatile tones come from a set of direct-mounted Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker active pickups with black covers, with voice selection via a push-pull volume knob. Mine just came in this week! This guitar is remarkably well made and is as good or better than any of my American guitars. The pickups sound so good with all of the aggressiveness of an active but still hold up the cleans. I love that there is no tone knob.

This guitar is a great investment. I Purchased one of these guitars from Sweetwater and it was absolutely flawless. The pickups are excellent and have great tone voicing options. Overall this guitar is top notch. For me, what sold me on this guitar was the options like snow white M-II, neck thru, direct mount pickups and the Floyd Rose Original SE trem. This Guitar looks, sounds and plays incredible. I'm grateful for ESP making this guitar available.

Firstly, regarding the guitar, I must say that the quality of the Japanese construction and its details have nothing to envy of the North American experience. I have owned Made in USA guitars for many years: Jackson, Dean, Charvel, Washburn and Gibson, and this ESP is very sophisticated, especially how refined and very comfortable the fingerboard is, it really impressed me, its touch is totally different from what I have experienced, soft, silky, accessible and together with the electronics of the Fishman pickups make it a versatile guitar. The value-price ratio definitely exceeded my expectations, with complete certainty my next purchase will be another ESP MIJ.

I pre-ordered one of these through Sweewater and I have to say, I was really disappointed. The guitar's paint job was very poor, in that there were many areas of the body unpainted and there were dust particles under the gloss coat. There was also overspray on the tip of the headstock that had been finished over with satin, so there was no correcting that. The body routes for the floyd rose and pickups were also very jagged, which caused the gloss finish to be uneven and prone to cracking. I've owned guitars from every price point and this was hands down the worst QC I've seen on any of them.

This isn't the ESP quality I've come to know and I know it isn't the guitar ESP wanted to send to me, but unfortunately it's the one I received. After doing some searching, it doesn't appear I'm the only one ending up in this situation. I'd highly advise anyone buying a post-COVID ESP guitar to not buy them unseen.

Sorry to hear all this, I actually received this same guitar in the perfect condition, could not find a single flaw.
