NOTE: Due to ongoing challenges in the global supply chain, instruments purchased from ShopESP that are not currently in stock may take an extended time frame to be delivered.

The LTD Black Metal Series is comparable in build quality to our LTD Deluxe “1000 Series” instruments, but with a dark and menacing design theme of all-black finish, components, and hardware, a single premium-quality pickup, Macassar ebony fingerboards with no inlays and glow-in-the-dark side markers, and even a newly-designed black metal LTD logo on the headstock. The EX-7 Baritone Black Metal offers the lights-out feel of the Black Metal Series in one of ESP’s more extreme body styles in a 7-string, 27” scale baritone version. It features a mahogany body, three-piece set-thru maple neck, 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, a TonePros locking bridge and tailpiece, and a single direct-mount EMG 81-7H pickup with black logo.

Just got mine yesterday. This guitar is phenomenal! So easy and fast to play, and the tone is CRUSHING. I've played it just about an hour, but this guitar became my favourite 7-string of all time. It's a work of art.

My LTD Ex-7 Baritone ships out to me in mid January, and I cannot wait! This will be my very first 7 string guitar, as I have owned 6 string guitars for the past 20+ years. I’ve played a few 7 strings for 10 or 15 minutes and they were fun, but to get to write some music on one, and one like  I am beyond grateful to have received such a gift. CANNOT WAIT to look at its gorgeous angles and what not.
