Guitars in the LTD 1000 Series are designed to offer the tone, feel, looks, and quality that working professional musicians need in an instrument. The Arrow-1000FR is a special member of the Arrow family, with its quilted maple top in Charcoal Sunburst Satin finish. It features neck-thru-body construction with mahogany body, 3-piece maple neck, reverse headstock with matching flamed maple finish, and Macassar ebony fingerboard with triangular white pearloid inlays and stainless steel frets. The sound of the Arrow-1000FR comes from its set of direct-mount Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker active pickups (alnico in the neck and ceramic in the bridge), with push-pull control to select voicings and black nickel covers to match this guitar’s outstanding aesthetics. These pickups offer an outstanding variety of huge tones that range from aggressive and punchy to smooth and articulate. Components include a Floyd Rose 1000SE bridge with stainless steel screws and precise Grover tuners.

This is the third Arrow I have purchased, I have the Arctic Metal (White) and the Candy apple red satin(? is that the name) and this one has blown those out of the water. in fairness the red one shouldn't have left the warehouse, the QA group failed miserably on that one. It was during the pandemic, but still expected better. this one however just blows my mind how nice it places. has become my #2 guitar (I have over 60 guitars so that's kind of a thing for me.)

I just bought this guitar a month ago,  I've been injured so I can't play it like I want....  but definitely on an even level with my two EII's for playability,  what I wonder is why this model has the extra thin neck profile and a compound neck radius and the EII version does not.  This seems like a better model spec vs spec.  Anyhow,  what I don't like is all the tooling marks on ALL the guitars now with stainless frets. Have a care you guys,  digging into an ebony fretboard chunking it out -cracking an inlay- and letting is pass QC is pretty shady.  I can fix it (in fact I already did),  but not everyone can.  Because it's ESP and I love you tho I allow my brand prejudice to dominate and I continue to buy your guitars.

The Fishman's definitely have it all over EMGs,  I was really impressed,  it even seemed like I could live with them for more than a day haha  changed out for a black winter and sentient tho on day 2.  the battery compartment is annoying now but a cool place to hide a stash.

I like that Gotoh Locking tuners are a direct replacement for these Grovers!  And I LOVE the fact the satin looks a million times better than in photos.  Would absolutely recommend.

Just received mine...my FOURTH Arrow-1000...hard to believe its been 14 months since I ordered it, but what's a few months between friends? This guitar is beautiful inside and out, plays amazing, and the Fishman pickups are a nice upgrade. My other three 1000's have EMGs, I'm not sure if I'm just playing a little different with my new toy or if the Fishman's are actually smoother and thicker. Since I play high gain metal, the differences are very slight but the Fishman's sound a little thicker with less nuisance high end (shrillness? scrapiness? harshness? LOL not sure what the right word is). Might have to install them in my other Arrows once I get a few practices and live shows to compare them. And the push/pull is a very welcome update, these Arrow 1000s are world class guitars! I hope to be added to their list of artists someday!
