Are any of these available in 7 string?

Todd B. ESP

Hi John, Sorry these models are not available in 7 string at this time. The closest thing would be our E-II models: https://www.espguitars.com/products?categories=te-series-guitars and our LTD Stef models: https://www.espguitars.com/products?categories=stephen-carpenter

Hey folks. Would you like some extra frets you can't reach?

Albert C.

It looks fantastic. It also has 24 stainless steel frets. It's almost what I have been looking to find, except for the active pickups. That is a deal breaker for me. Why can we not have the option of choice of pickup in the guitars? Why would they put active pickups in a guitar with a natural finish as if it were a guitar for metal? I love metal, but this guitar inspires me to play classic rock, not metal. Also, why can't we have the choice of a fixed bridge or tremolo? I haven't tried the EverTune bridge, but the choice to get a Hipshot would be nice. Some may prefer to get a tremolo, which I wouldn't want but others might.

Albert C. I am with you all the way with your critique.I am a passive pickup guy. Also, not having a whammy bar is disappointing.

Have you ever tried the 57/66 set? They are very different from the 81/85 set most people are used to. They are easily among the best and most versatile pickups I have ever used, for any style of music, and pair well with every amp I own. They have great dynamics, a fairly balanced EQ, and respond extremely well to rolling the volume back too.

This just in, metal guitarists aren't allowed to play guitars that look pretty
