So...is it a maple neck thru or mahogany? In the description it says mahogany but in the specs it says maple...

Carl N.

Hey Sean, neck thru is a construction technique where the piece used for the neck extends to the lowest part of the body and the body is constructed using a piece on either side of the neck, referred to as wings.  So in this instance the neck is made of maple and the wings of the body are made of mahogany.  Check out some of our neck thru instruments with natural or see thru finishes and this will be more apparent.  Hope this helps!

Carl N.

By bad Sean, I looked again at our build sheets for these instruments and see we specify mahogany for the body and neck.  This will be a mahogany neck thru instrument with a three piece mahogany neck.  Thanks for pointing that out!

Thank you for re-reading my question Carl. I probably should've worded it a bit differently. I definitely know what neck thru means lol. I'm excited for this one.

When will this be available to purchase?

Carl N.

Hey Daniel, available now!

Joe Mom

The interview with Todd Binder mention's this guitar to have a single Fishman pickup.

Carl N.

Hey Joe, this will have a Fishman Fluence humbucker.

GliTch

You've put a black winter in the spec list, but that's clearly a fishman.

Carl N.

Thanks for pointing that out GliTch!

I love it!

Without the tone knob for the fishman, would that be the same as having a tone knob all the way up or all the way down? I always have my tone up full.

Carl N.

Hey Ultimagroove, removing the tone knob would leave the instrument in a full up state.  Hope this helps!
