Dear ESP, I'm sure you're sick of hearing this, but that Floyd Rose is the only thing keeping me from buying this otherwise amazing beast of a guitar.

In the meantime I will continue to dream.

    As a non-Floyd player myself I completely understand.  As much as we would love to offer all of our instruments in every pickup, bridge, color combination unfortunately it just isn't feasible from a production standpoint.

                Will the EMG kill switch still work if I swap the Active EMG pickup with a passive Dimarzio pickup? 

                And what's the weight and balance like on this guitar? A lot of V shaped guitars are fairly neck heavy, is that an issue with this guitar?

                  The switch was designed for use with EMG pickups so some creative wiring may be needed to get it to work with another brand's pickups.  These are about 8lbs, haven't noticed any balance issues.
