Why the kill switch?  None of the other black metal models have it. Without it this would be a near perfect guitar but that silly kill switch taints it for me.

Hey Cody, not every musician has the same preference and while we try and please all of our players as you can see it is very difficult to produce an instrument that everyone will love.  I still personally enjoy the killswitch on this

I would KILL for an EX Black Metal

Carl N.

Hey Nik, I would too, let's hope we don't have to resort to that.

Thank you Todd. That was a much more detailed response than I expected. I appreciate it! I'll be sure to let you know how I like the instrurment, I'm sure it will be all positve and the sickest guitar I've owned today, next to my LTD Viper 401 of course..... The timely responses on this forum are much appreciated by all, I'm sure. Thanks again.

HI Myles, You're welcome. Hope you do like your addition to your arsenal! The Viper-401's are great too!

Hi, where are these guitars made? Are they Korean? Thanks. I just ordered on last Friday! Stoked.

Todd B. ESP

Hi Myles, Great to hear that. We hope that you are pleased with your new instrument.

We are currently manufacturing this model in both Korea and Indonesia. However, we constantly monitor production standards at our various factories in Asia where we produce LTD models. Should we determine that a certain facility is capable of manufacturing an instrument to ESP's required standard or better, we may decide to shift production, or in some cases share production of a model, wherever that factory may be located. The guitar should be of excellent quality regardless of where it's made, and it will have passed our own quality assurance testing.

How about a hardtail V like this?

Todd B. ESP

Hi CHarles, thanks for your suggestions. We're focusing primarily on the Arrow V shape right now, however we thank you for your feedback.
