Hay this guitar is arriving tomorrow and I’m super excited. With higher gauge strings would it handle drop tuning despite it not being a baritone? Thanks

Why not stainless steel frets?

The 7-string of my dreams!

Steven M.

I just purchased this beauty last week through sweetwater. Very excited as this is my first guitar from the company and I heard nothing but great reviews from you guys. However, Sweetwater said they will likely receive the guitar in a couple months. Is there a way you can follow up on my order?  Thank you soo much.

Todd B. ESP

Hi Steven, That's very cool...congratulations on your purchase! Thanks for giving us a chance and we really hope you will love your new guitar! Please continue to contact your sales person at Sweetwater. They can help you and should be the primary contact.  They will also be in contact with our internal sales team here should they need any updates for you.

The aggressiveness of this guitar equals to rhino in beast form, Devastator in Transformers form!!!

Therefore I say this guitar produces the heaviest riff sound in the entire E-II 7 string series!!!

Carl N.

thanks for letting us know!

Erik S.

I purchased this beast a few months ago and have been loving it ever since, anyone thinking of getting this I HIGHLY recommend it! Couldn’t be happier having this in my arsenal

Carl N.

glad you've been enjoying it, thanks for sharing

It's high time for Stainless Steel Frets to be standard in the E-II Line.

My MH-417 has served me very well for over 8 years and I'm the market for my next 7 string.  It's a shame ESP doesn't offer stainless steel frets in their production line, thus giving the edge to their competitors.

Carl N.

We are working to make this offering more common though this takes some time. I should also say that it is a misconception that stainless frets are actually better than standard nickel silver frets.  While some players can benefit from the longevity gained by using stainless steel frets, the particular tone they produce can be seen as dissonant to some players.

Thierry W.

I can only agree with Carl: I like the feel and longevity of the SS frets i have on one of my guitars, but I dislike the tone.

Hey ESP, I'm saving up for this purple beast but I see the dealers in Melbourne are slowly running out of stock. Is this model a limited production? Thanks for the awesome guitars

Carl N.

This is a current production model, not a limited edition.

Josh B.

If this had gloss finish on the neck I'd be all over it.

Carl N.

Thanks for your opinion!

I just ordered the EIIMII7NTDBBL E-II M-II 7 NT Hip LH, Drk Brn Nat Brst from Sweetwater yesterday.  Can you give me a estimated time frame of when I might receive this.  Thank you SO much!! SO excited and thank you for thinking about the lefties!!!

Carl N.

Hey Angelia, best to ask your sweetwater rep when you would be due to receive this.  Hope you enjoy it!

James R.

Any plans to introduce a 27" scale model?

Carl N.

Hey James, not currently though we do produce some Horizon instruments in this scale length.

Schack

Are there any plans on making a Floyd Rose version?

Carl N.

Hey Schack, nothing in the works at the moment.

Angelia E.

So I am thinking about purchasing the ESP E-II 7 NT Hipshot Left-Handed-Dark Brown Natural Burst guitar from Sweetwater tomorrow.   On the Sweetwater site it is a special order saying allow a few weeks for the guitar to come in.  Since this is a left handed 7 string are these commonly made and will only take a few weeks? Is that an actuate ETA?

Carl N.

Hey Angelia, I am very familiar with this model.  This was an exclusive model offered by two of our dealers for 2018 and has since been discontinued.  The dealers were Drum City Guitar Land and Xtreme Lefty Guitars.   I am not sure how Sweetwater has this listed but the ETA they had provided would not be accurate for this instrument as this is not being offered within our current line up.  I spoke with our sales representative here to see if they can clear things up with Sweetwater.  I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience, I've removed the left handed notation from our site to avoid any further confusion.  I'd recommend contacting one of the two dealers I had mentioned to see if they have any of these models left over.  Let me know if I can help with anything else!

Todd B. ESP

Hi, Thanks for your suggestion.

David H.

Are the WARPIG pickups in this guitar ceramic, alnico, or a mixed set?

Todd B. ESP

Hi David, We are using the default configuration with Alnico V magnets. Thanks for bringing this up. We'll add this detail to our spec on the product page.

David H.

Hi Todd, thank you for the response/answer. I have one of these ordered thru my dealer... I'm anxiously waiting for it to arrive.

Todd B. ESP

Hi David, That's great, hope you like it when you do receive it!

Is there a possibility for this model to be released with an Evertune bridge? Pickups and finish are awesome however l am not a big fan of hipshot bridges. Thanks!

Charlie H.

This. Slap an evertune on it and it would be perfect.

Todd B. ESP

Hi Charlie, thanks for that suggestion.

Todd B. ESP

Hi Yigitke3, Currently there is no plan for this model with Evertune but it could be something we consider. Thanks for your suggestion.
