As one of the best-looking, best-sounding, and highest quality single cutaway guitars ever made, the E-II Eclipse is made in Japan at the ESP factory, and designed for serious players who rely on their guitars for professional-caliber stage and studio work. This guitar offers a collection of top-tier components, like a bone nut, ESP strap locks, Gotoh locking tuners, and a Gotoh TOM bridge and tailpiece. Perhaps most impressive is its set of EMG 57TW/66TW set for coil splitting each active pickup with individual push-pull controls on both volume knobs. Built with set-thru construction on a mahogany body and mahogany neck, the latest version of the E-II Eclipse is available in three styles: a Buckeye burl maple top in Blue Natural Fade finish; a flamed maple top in Black Natural Burst; and a maple-capped Snow White Satin finish. All E-II Eclipse models offer high-end design features like multi-binding on the body, neck, stainless steel frets, and matching headstock, and include an ESP hardshell case.

I just ordered this about two weeks ago and finally received it after a "long wait"but let me tell you it was/is we'll worth the wait, this guitar is a beauty. Sounds and plays so effortlessly that makes me want to keep playing. Before I ordered this I had/have the ESP LTD KH-602 and I love that guitar but I just wanted something a little better, a little more custom. So far it has not disappointed and it is a sexy looking guitar.

My only concern is going to be trying to keep it clean and new/fresh looking for years to come.......

.........So if any ESP techs are watching this review and can help me out on how to keep the body clean and/or what to use I'd really appreciate it!My ESP E-II Snow White

This with gold hardware and JB/59 PUPS would be slick.

I got this one for a year now, and it is my favorite! It is so versital in sound. Yes i do use it with a Line6 Helix but those team up very well. I was a little afraid that the white would get dirty very quickly but it is easy to clean without damage. A slight disatvantage, when using the push pull you will get a nasty audio click with a cracking noise.  But more important, it plays so fine, sounds so good. Certainly recoment is fot a kind of all round guitar player that like to get rauer

Hey ESP,

Do you plan on making an FR version of the E-II Eclipse?

Thanks

Todd B. ESP

Hi, No plans at this time but that's not to say we wouldn't offer something like that in the future.

What kind of clear coat is put on this? Im really interested in this model but the thought of a snow white guitar turning yellow with age! Ugh! Really love the white tho

Todd B. ESP

Hi, We use polyurethane finish. This one has a satin top coat.
