I bought this guitar a year ago and since then I haven’t been able to practice guitar without it. I’m happy that my first ESP instrument was this LTD model because of it’s well-made construction, versatility, and striking appearance. If you’re looking to buy this guitar, I’d say that you’re making the right investment. The new H3 models are just as solid and I can’t wait to see more in the future! If I may suggest, I would love to have this model added to the Black Metal Series.

thanks for the suggestion!

My favorite ESP/LTD model! Never tried one before, but will surely get one once it is available again... I really like the OG 3x3 headstock, but this pointy headstock looks rad as well!

thanks for sharing!

I love the body shape so much.  The headstock shape fits it really well too.  Wish this color came in floyd rose.  And I wish more colors were offered without a see through flame top.  Also perhaps with a more flat top without the bevel..

Thanks for the suggestions

I purchased one of these about a year ago, and it has since become my favourite guitar. I barely even play my USA-made Gibsons and Deans anymore since getting it. While part of this is personal preference for its light weight and longer scale length, the guitar's build quality is as good as or better than my other USA-made instruments. The only thing I've done to it is pop in some EMG 57/66 pickups into it.

I will likely get the new Turquoise one too since I love this one so much, but I would love to see a seven-string LTD model or even have Horizon IIIs added to the ESP USA models list.

O.K. You got me..Its BEA utiful..

3 questions..

1) is it a set neck or a neck through?Never liked when LTD started using the term "set through".Are the wings attached to the Centerboard/neck? Or is it a set tenon to the neck pick up?

2) is the veneer attached to a maple cap or the Mahogany Body?

3) Will there be a Purple Floyd rose?

I would just like to know the construction,None of the answers would sway me away...Thank you...

Carl N.

as the specifications note, this will be a set-thru construction. this does not have a maple cap under the veneer or purple floyd.

Peter B.

wow..Well I got number 2 answered....That was really answered poorly..I think the world wants to know what set thru even means......And I guess we will never know if the color purple is in the works on the floyd version of this guitar..I am going back to the three guitars I am building at the moment...Thanks, I guess

Carl N.

sorry buddy but your questions were worded poorly.

1. Set-thru construction - meaning the instrument is constructed in a manner similar to that of a set neck but the heel of the instrument is shaped akin to a neck thru

2. No plain maple cap unless noted in the specifications - otherwise safe to assume it is with a veneer over the body wood

3. You made it seem like you were asking for a purple Floyd Rose, not to have a purple version of this instrument with a Floyd Rose - Currently no plans at the moment to introduce such a model

Peter B.

Really,A purple floyd rose?...Some one sounds awful uptight.
