As part of the LTD Deluxe Series designed for professional musicians, the LTD MH-1000 EverTune gives you more than you bargained for. It offers set-thru construction, meaning the neck extends deeply into the guitar's body cavity, offering unparalleled access to the upper frets with a smooth heel joint. It has a mahogany body with a flamed maple top in a See Thru Black finish, highlighting the great look of the figured wood grain. It also features a three-piece extra thin U-shaped maple neck, and an ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets. High-class touches are included, like its multiple white binding and Grover tuners. But the MH-1000 EverTune takes things a step further with the inclusion of active EMG 85 (neck) and EMG 81 (bridge) pickup for tones that range from dark and menacing through screaming and aggressive. Finally, the EverTune constant tension bridge ensures that almost any conditions, your guitar will stay in perfect tune, and have incredibly accurate intonation at every point on the fingerboard.  LTD MH-1000ET, Mine has a serial number that starts with 'W21'. Korea [the good one] 2021 model.

The quality is worth the price. I love the see-thru black. The body shape is comfortable, standing or sitting. The neck-through-body design is well done. The neck shape is not too flat and not too round, no cramping up if you play for hours on end. The Grover tuners are smooth and have a lifetime guarantee. The frets are well-dressed, no need to run to the "luthier" and over-pay for their services as soon as you take this one out of the box. The binding on the body has 7 white \ black layers and headstock has 5 white \ black layers, and the neck is 1 layer white with black position marker dots. The Fretboard, all I need to say is it is ebony and that is enough, but then you have the pearl position markers that just 'set-it-off'. The headstock also has pearl inlay that is sharp looking. The black Trust-rod cover has the model in italic white alpha-numeric, basic nice. We have one switch and two knobs, I do not need anything else. And then we have the pickups, EMGs are exZAKKly what I wanted, but then I really like Zakk's sound. There is only one thing you might replace if you really think a different material is better, and that is the nut.

And now we need to discuss the diamond on this platinum ring. The Evertune does exactly what it says it will do, which is

  • it keeps the guitar in perfect tune.
  • every note on every fret is in perfect intonation.
  • it is incredibly easy to adjust
    • tuning
    • string height
    • intonation
    • changing the strings is easy through the backplate
    • changing string gauge is not hard as long as you stay within the gauges that are supported by the springs under the backplate.
    • you never need to take the backplate off for maintenance, just let this thing do what it does for as long as you play it.

So buy it, play it, love it, you will not regret it.

Please bring back the Floyd rose version of this

Arnaud F.

J'approuve votre commentaire, la version avec Floyd rose aurait été un chef-d'œuvre.

Todd B. ESP

HI, thanks for your suggestion.

hi, was wondering if ET was really worth it for a casual player love the fact that it stays in tune but is it easy to setup, restring and all ?

And does the MH1000 come in black or only in 7 strings ? must admit still looks pretty awesome in see thru black

Carl N.

The bridge itself isn't too difficult to work with, if you can turn an allen key and read directions you should be able to tune and setup your bridge with no issues, though if you are not comfortable maintaining an instrument with a fixed bridge I would leave this to a tech in your area.  Currently only being offered in the colors shown, here are the other Evertune equipped instruments we offer.

the bridge is great and way smoother to adjust than tune-o-matic or even floyd rose. but this particular axe is f**king heavy. It's not just the bridge. I had the mh350nt before and the body of the mh1000et is quite a bit thicker. I wouldn't want to carry this one around during a show.

I own a Ltd ec 1000 et and the evertune is really easy to setup much easier than a standard bridge and it never goes out of tune , the only time you have to tune it is when you change strings honestly it's amazing

Brandon F.

In which country is this MH-1000 made?

Carl N.

Hey Brandon, these are made in both Korea and Indonesia, hope this helps!

Anders B.

Hi. Considering this guitar. Allready own a gh600 and its by far my favorite. Think i read somewhere that this comes factory tuned in D. Is that correct?

Carl N.

Hey Anders, this will be tuned in standard, you can see all of our factory tunings and strings used in our FAQ section.
