Darren Stroud: "Everlong" (cover)

ESP ALL ACCESS COMMUNITY MEMBER SPOTLIGHT! As Hans Christian Andersen wrote, "Where words fail, music speaks." When a fellow member of our family of musicians falls, we all feel it, and when we heard this melancholic but beautifully melodic guitar cover of Foo Fighters' "Everlong" by All Access community member Darren Stroud, we knew it was the perfect way to express our feelings at the loss of Taylor Hawkins. Something to think about: the reason Taylor was so universally respected was that he committed himself 100% to every performance, and you didn't need to be a musician to understand that he loved every moment of every song, and truly appreciated the opportunity to share his passion for music far and wide. It's something we all can try to do in our own musical endeavors. Darren is playing his LTD EC-256 here; check out more of his music on the website for his band PowerTribe.

If you're doing cool music with your ESP, ESP E-II, or LTD guitar or bass, upload a video to the ESP site and we might select you as the next ESP All Access Community Member to feature on our front page where thousands of other players can check you out! Get the details here.

Nice job Darren.  Didn't know you were going to release a new Smooth Grooves CD.  Coming soon on a Soft Rock station near you.  LOL!  Just kidding Brotha.  Awesome playing as usual!  \m/
