    Here's iconic ESP player Stephen Carpenter doing a playthrough of "Romantic Dreams" from Deftones' acclaimed 2012 album Koi No Yokan. As usual, Stef turns to one of his huge collection of guitars from the ESP Custom Shop in Japan, and this 8-string model is pretty spectacular... it features photos of past and present employees of ESP, and once again, he's using a stylish matching string dampener/hair scrunchy.     I've seen the Deftones about 7 or 8 times now over the past 20 years - Stephen always has an ESP logo visible on his shirt, his guitar, his cabinet, monitors, case. He's definitely the first person I think of when I think of the brand. You guys should give him a nice birthday present.
