I've got a 2019 AP-5 in black. Stunning pro quality 5 string with a very wide tonal range and great playability. String spacing is perfect, and the shallow neck is easy to navigate. My other LTD is a Surveyor 405, which is also brilliant with an even faster neck. Between these two basses I've got the perfect combination to tackle any gig or session ( but the AP-5 would be the one I'd take to a gig if I could only carry one.)

Hardware, pickups, build quality, playability, sound and, importantly, weight means I've sold all my Warwicks and now use these LTD's, a very old Ibanez SR405 and a lovely 80s Yamaha Fretless to cover all my requirements.

Fully agree.  Such a great instrument.  A real players bass.  Well built, good sound, premium parts.
