Guitars in the LTD 1000 Series are designed to offer the tone, feel, looks and quality that working professional musicians require in an instrument. Based on the traditional look of ESP’s Snapper guitar shape, the SN-1000FR adds the high-performance tools needed for contemporary music. It has a swamp ash body at 25.5” scale, with a roasted maple neck and maple fingerboard with stainless steel frets that include scalloping from #17-24. The SN-1000FR offers an H/S/S pickup configuration with two Seymour Duncan Hot Strat single-coils and a high-output Pegasus humbucker in the bridge, with a push-push control to split the bridge pickup. It also features a Floyd Rose 1000SE bridge with stainless steel screws. The SN-1000FR is offered in a sandblasted Black Blast finish.

I have this guitar for a month now and i am very pleased with it.condition was impeccable and guitar came with proper setup.neck is great, the fretwork flawless.the staineless steel frets big and shiny and the no gloss in the neck makes you believe that you can reach speeds that only yngie malmsteen got in the 80s.

The scalloping is as much as it needed, helps a little bit with bends and vibratos down there where the frets are close together.there is no actual point of full scalloped neck.

Pickup configuration gives you maximum flexibility, you can play from country to hard rock/metal.its the modern strat that all need but they dont know it yet because they havent tried. The only ''issue'' that i have is with the single coils that make noise.my other guitars where with emg and humbucker pickups so its the first time i counter this ''problem''.Recommended to everyone and anyone.

No more alder body with HSS configuration on the snappers? Maybe next year?

It would make sense to install Gotoh 1996 “ Floyd style bridges “ instead of Floyd rose since they are the same radius 350 mm as all your necks and they are better quality ‍♂️

I had posted a review of this guitar earlier in the year, noting that the condition I received the guitar was not up to par with the standards that ESP sets. However, a I repurchased the guitar through an authorized retailer and it was in much better condition than the guitar I originally purchased. 10/10. This guitar is amazing. Absolutely beautiful piece of work if you happen to get one that’s been looked over well. Incredibly versatile as well.

This might just be the one.  Wow.  It has all the features I love.

Do you know the average weight of this guitar?

Also, the tuners ratio? 18 to 1 or 16 to 1 or?

Thanks.

Hi, Glad you like this one. The weight is approximately 7.6lbs. Keep in mind that weights will vary. Tuner gear ratio is in fact 18:1. For any other questions please direct them to customerservice@espguitars.com
