ESP Artists Nominated for 2021 Grammys

We're sending our congratulations to a pair of ESP artists whose bands both ended up receiving nominations for the 63rd GRAMMY Awards, airing Sunday, January 31 on CBS.

Code Orange, featuring ESP signature artist Reba Meyers, has been nominated in the "Best Metal Performance" category for their album Underneath. This is the second Grammy nomination for the band; their previous album Forever was nominated in the same category at the 2018 awards. Reba's LTD Signature Series RM-600 is based on the Viper shape and features a unique marble satin finish, an inline headstock, a single EMG 81 pickup, and an EMG TKO kill switch.

Power Trip, the Dallas-based thrash metal band featuring ESP player Nick Stewart, is nominated in the same category for a live recording of their song "Executioner's Tax (Swing of the Axe)". Nick's main guitar is the ESP E-II M-I, a guitar that features neck-thru-body construction, a Gotoh TOM bridge with string-thru-body, and a single EMG 81 active pickup.

We wish these ESP artists the best of luck (even though they're facing off against each other) at the show in January!

I can’t get into the majority of Code Orange’s work but Underneath is an absolutely CRUSHING song. I’m really glad I checked these guys out, this tune was worth the price of admission.
